Plug in your Sticky Jam
Turn both speakers off, plug the right speaker into your computer with a USB‑C cable, then turn it on. Double‑tap the connected speaker's middle button twice until you hear “PC MODE”. Once you hear that, you're good to move on.
Most Chromebooks have USB‑C ports built in — plug straight in. If your cable is USB‑A, any port works.

Upload your songs
Add as many songs as you want — MP3, M4A, or WAV files. We fix the bitrate automatically, right here in your browser, so every song plays on your Sticky Jams.
Upload ALL your songs at once — every time. Adding new songs later deletes the old ones off your Sticky Jams, so whenever you want to add a song, upload your whole playlist together.

Copy songs to your MP3 player
Your songs go to the drive called “NO NAME” (or “USB DRIVE”) — you'll find it under Locations in Finder.

Your songs go to the drive called “NO NAME” (or “USB DRIVE”) — you'll find it in the sidebar of the Files app.
Add your songs in step 2 — as soon as they finish processing, your copy button appears right here.
Hit the button and pick the drive called NO NAME or USB DRIVE (that's the speaker you plugged in at step 1), then allow Chrome to save changes.
Want the one-click red copy button? Open this page in Chrome or Edge. On this browser, use “Download fixed files” and follow the steps below.
No red button, or rather do it by hand? Use “Download fixed files”, then:
- Open Finder.
- In the sidebar under Locations, click the drive called NO NAME or USB DRIVE.
- Drag your fixed songs from your Downloads folder into that drive.
- Open File Explorer and click This PC.
- Double-click the drive called USB DRIVE or NO NAME.
- Drag your fixed songs from your Downloads folder into that drive.
- Open the Files app.
- In the left sidebar, click the drive called NO NAME or USB DRIVE.
- Drag your fixed songs from Downloads into that drive.
Quick check before you move on: peek inside the drive — if any song shows 0 KB, delete that file and copy that song over again. Every song should show a real file size.

Eject
Open Finder back up and press the eject icon next to NO NAME under Locations. Then unplug the speaker.
Open File Explorer back up, right-click the drive → Eject. Then unplug the speaker.
Open the Files app back up and press the eject icon next to the drive. Then unplug the speaker.
Computer says “Google Chrome is using the disk”? Press “Done — release the drive” up in step 3 (or close this tab), then eject.

Switch to MP3 mode
After you unplug, turn it OFF, then turn both speakers ON at the same time. Then double-click the right speaker's middle button to switch to MP3 — and it should work. Your songs are on board — music anywhere on the field, no phone needed. Go get loud.
That usually means a corrupt file snuck onto the drive. Wipe it clean and re-load:
- Plug in the right speaker (Sticky Jam off).
- Open Disk Utility, pick the NO NAME / USB DRIVE drive, and press Erase (format: MS-DOS (FAT)).
- Run your songs through step 2 again and copy the fresh files over.
- Eject, unplug, power back on.
- Plug in the right speaker (Sticky Jam off).
- In File Explorer, right-click the drive → Format… (FAT32, Quick Format) and press Start.
- Run your songs through step 2 again and copy the fresh files over.
- Eject, unplug, power back on.
- Plug in the right speaker (Sticky Jam off).
- In the Files app, right-click the drive → Format device.
- Run your songs through step 2 again and copy the fresh files over.
- Eject, unplug, power back on.

Heads up — this takes a couple minutes
Your speaker copies slowly. While a song is copying, it shows up as a 0 KB file on the drive — that's normal. Wait until no 0 KB files show up and this page says every song is on your Sticky Jams before you eject or unplug.

Keep the speaker plugged in and this tab open. Songs show 0 KB on the drive until they finish — that's normal.

Now eject the drive
Open Finder. In the left sidebar under Locations, click the ⏏ eject symbol next to NO NAME. When it disappears from the sidebar, unplug the speaker.
Open File Explorer and click This PC. Right-click the drive (USB DRIVE or NO NAME) and choose Eject. Then unplug the speaker.
Open the Files app and click the ⏏ eject symbol next to the drive in the sidebar. Then unplug the speaker.
You're all set.
One last step: turn the speaker OFF, turn both speakers ON at the same time, then double-click the right speaker's middle button to switch to MP3 mode.
Your songs are on your Sticky Jams — enjoy them out there.
